After 25 years running Harley Books it is cleart that it is time to retire. Therefore, following friendly negotiations, with effect from 1st April 2008, Harley Books has been sold to the Danish publisher, Apollo Books.

Apollo Books will continue to all stock the Harley Books titles at Harley Books’ distributors Hoddle Doyle Meadows Ltd near Cambridge. The majority of Apollo Books titles are also stocked by Hoddle Doyle Meadows Ltd and therefore all British orders will be despatched from the UK. Payment can be made in sterling by cheque or bank transfer. Booksellers should mention their V.A.T. number on their orders.
We would like to thank all our customers for their support over the past 25 years. We would also like to recommend Apollo Books to previous and new customers. Apollo Books’ main activity has so far been books on entomology, on which subject they are today the worlds leading publisher with an excellent reputation. In 2006 they acquired Harley Books’ series, The Moths and Butterflies of Great Britain and Ireland, which they aim to complete over the next few years.
